Briefly describe the organization’s mission: The Welfare Benefits Funding Plan for Employees of Temple University is a 501 (c) 9 Trust reporting on the activity of: 1. The Welfare Benefits Trust Fund, which provides long-term disability benefits to certain Temple (Continued from form 990 Part III, Line 1) University and Temple University Health System employees, and 2. The Post-Retirement Trust Fund which provides medical and prescription drug coverage to eligible retirees of certain Temple University and Temple University Health System employees.
