	Education/Meetings - UCAOA holds two main continuing medical education conferences - one each in the spring and fall. A trade show/exhibit hall is also featured at each conference to provide attendees with extended opportunities to learn about new developments as well as tools to help their practice management and clinical practice. A series of continuing education webinars are held and webinars and conference sessions are archived and available for purchase.

	Membership - UCAOA has individual (physician,non-physician and students), clinic and vendor memberships. Clinic organizational membership is based on the number of locations/centers and ranges from 1-2 to more than 100. Individuals working for clinic members receive benefits as "beneficiaries" of the clinic membership. Vendor (group) memberships consist of any company providing supplies or services to the urgent care industry.

	Certification/Accreditation - Since 2009, UCAOA has administered a certification program to recognize those urgent care centers that meet the scope of services as defined by the UCAOA. Ongoing outreach is conducted to educate the industry and third party payers about the value of certification (recognizing scope) and accreditation (recognizing quality and safety) and the role of urgent care in the healthcare continuum.

Part X, Line 2:

FIN 48 Note from Audited Financial Statements The Association was granted an exemption from federal income taxes by the Internal Revenue Service pursuant to the provisions of Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(6). The tax exempt purpose of the Association and the nature in which it operates is described in the first paragraph of this note. Management's assertion is that the Association continues to operate in compliance with its tax-exempt purpose. The Association's annual returns filed with the Federal and State governments are subject to examination by taxing authorities, generally for three years after being filed. The Association does generate advertising revenue, service revenue from some sponsors and job bank fees. These activities are considered unrelated to the Association's exempt purpose and revenue, less related expenses are subject to income tax.
