Briefly describe the organization’s mission: The Organization seeks to promote and foster the highest ethical relationship between businesses and the public through voluntary self-regulation, consumer and business education and service excellence. The Organization handled over 3.4 million individual services to businesses and consumers from Northern Illinois and around the world.

Promote fair business with respect to trade and consumers through media interviews, coverage of marketplace trends and scams, various public actions and brochures, consumer resource guide to inform and educate the public on the Organization's free services, media releases, self help books, charity review, home and auto shows, speakers bureau for Navy, universities and a variety of schools, announcements and printing of reports. Distribution of specific business reliability reports on 95,000 businesses. An integral part of the development of business reports is the Organization's investigation division that reviews information and works with various agencies to promote integrity in the marketplace, ethics awards recognizing best practices, and assistance in settling complaints with businesses.
