FORM 990, PART I, LINE 1:	To provide personnel, material, equipment, and training for responding to oil spills on the North Slope of Alaska, selected areas of the Alaskan outer continental shelf, adjacent shorelines and the Transalaska pipeline.
FORM 990, PART VI, SECTION A, LINE 6:	The organization's current membership includes oil and pipeline companies that engage in or intend to undertake oil and gas exploration, development, production, and/or pipeline transport activities on the North Slope of Alaska.
FORM 990, PART VI, SECTION B, LINE 11:	This Form 990 was reviewed by the accounting supervisor and the secretary/treasurer prior to submission to the Internal Revenue Service. During such review, it was verified that the information contained therein ties out to audited financial statements.
FORM 990, PART VI, SECTION B, LINE 12C:	All employees sign a conflict of interest statement at the time of hire, at least once each year thereafter or as requested, and any time necessitated by an employee's personally changing business relationships outside of the organization. All conflict of interest statements are reviewed by the general manager for potential conflict. Policy allows for disciplinary action, up to and including termination for violation. All directors sign a conflict of interest statement annually.
FORM 990, PART VI, SECTION B, LINE 15:	The organization employed Towers Watson to perform independent salary surveys and studies. All management compensation was approved by the governing body, falling between the 25th and the 50th percentile of the independently prepared salary surveys.
