	The IFO is a community that takes professional responsibility for excellent, accessible, and inclusive public higher education in Minnesota. The IFO represents the interests, welfare, and aspirations of all members through collective bargaining, contract enforcement and advocacy. When choosing to become a member you ensure that your priorities and challenges are heard and represented by your union. Supporting the IFO community leads to higher wages, better benefits, and working conditions. In recent years the IFO has won major victories for our members, including; increased pay, paid parental leave, additional state higher education funding, improved pay and working conditions for adjunct and community faculty, and secured a campus-based process for charting the future.
