What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? Local chapter of the CFA Institute. Founded in 1947, CFA Society Providence today arranges presentations by corporate leaders, industry experts, and other educational speakers for the benefit of its members.Membership consists of portfolio managers, security analysts, educators and other professionals involved in the field of investments.
