	In 2015, 4 Lanes 4 Nebraska formally organized as an infrastructure development advocate. The organization formed a coalition of business and industry interests for purposes of pressing State action on finishing the Nebraska Expressway System. Highway expansion impact studies were commissioned and completed for unfinished projects, Hwy 275 and Hwy 81. Communities of interest were engaged and encouraged to join the 4 Lanes 4 Nebraska coalition. The board of directors expanded to include business and industry leaders across the state, from Bellevue to Chadron. 4 Lanes 4 Nebraska employed a registered lobbyist to help pursue transportation policy reforms. New transportation funding mechanisms were approved by the Legislature and enacted into law. Communities across the state will benefit from transportation projects that will now begin earlier than previously possible.
