What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? The chapter organizes fundraisers and social events, helps support educational opportunities, and represents the student body to the college administration and the American Veterinary Medical Association. The chapter also provides funding for both group and individual educational opportunities, such as travel to veterinary conferences, externships, wetlabs, and guest speakers.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 Program accomplishments for the fiscal year ended July 31, 2015 included: provided funding to individual students for travel and lodging associated with various educational experiences; provided funding to various clubs at the college for travel and lodging associated with various educational experiences; provided funding for travel and lodging for officers and students to attend an annual national conference held by the American Veterinary Medical Association for its student members; covered the expense costs of venue and catering at networking, educational and wellness events for members, alumni, and guests; and purchased merchandise for sale at community and local events.
