CHPAs in good standing may hold Professional membership status regardless of employment status. b.Partner Member i.Partner membership is available to individuals who are engaged in the selling or providing of security and safety products, equipment or services.c.Associate Member i.Associate membership is ONLY available to individuals who work in a healthcare facility in security, safety or emergency management and do NOT have management and /or supervisory responsibilities. Form 990, Part VI, Line 7a: How Members or Shareholders Elect Governing Body	a.No more than one half of the Board of Directors shall be elected during a single Annual Election of Officers; the Vice-President/Secretary and Vice-President/Treasurer shall not be elected during the same Annual Election of Officers. The Member- at-Large positions will be elected in alternate years.b.Candidates will submit a portrait style photograph and a two-hundred and fifty word biography, which the Committee reserves the right to edit, with the Statement of Interest form. Nominating committee members will determine candidate eligibility, make all eligible candidates aware of the duties and responsibilities of an IAHSS Board Director, and interview each eligible candidate according to an agreed upon set of interview questions . The Nominating Committee will develop a ballot of the most qualified and appropriate candidates based on the current needs of the association and based on the composition and strengths/needs of the Board. If possible, the Nominating Committee will endeavor to have at least 2 candidates for each open position. The Nominating Committee will notify any candidates who were determined to not be included on the ballot before the ballot is released to the membership.c.Voting shall be non-cumulative. Each Member shall have one vote for each elected office except as noted in the bylaws. The election shall be conducted by electronic mail in the fourth quarter of the year in which the positions come open from a slate of candidates selected by the Nominating Committee. Candidates shall be presented to the membership via electronic communication and ballots shall be emailed to voting members at least thirty (30) days prior to the submission deadline date set by the Board of Directors. Results of the election shall be tabulated electronically and announced to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director, and the Nominating Committee. A member of the Nominating Committee will individually notify all candidates of the election results prior to them being published to the membership. The election results shall be published and distributed via the Associations electronic publications.
