Promote the common good and general welfare of the people of the community and the good of the American Legion to assist and care for veterans and their families. To carry on programs to perpetuate the memory of deceased veterans and members of the Armed Forces and to comfort their survivors. To sponsor or participate in activities of a patriotic nature. To conduct programs for charitable, literary, or educational purposes. To provide social and recreational activities for its members.

Pt III, Line 31 Sponsored 6 deserving young children to attend the America Legion Boys State educational programs of government instruction for U.S. high school students. The Boys State Program is a participatory program in which students become part of the operation of local, county and state government.n
Pt III, Line 31 Conducted American Legion Ceremonial Services at the funeral of 3 of the Post's members who passed in 2015.
Pt III, Line 31 Conducted American Legion ceremonial memorial services on Memorial Day at various burial sites for fallen veterans, veteran's memorial sites and the Post. These services included both a color guard and firing squad.
