	GOLF COURSE FOR CLUB MEMBERS. A SIGNIFICANT PART OF THE ARLINGTON ASSOCIATION/CLUB OPERATIONS CENTER AROUND ITS OUTSTANDING 18 HOLE GOLF COURSE. THIS COURSE IS USED EXTENSIVELY BY MEMBERS AS WELL AS BY THE GOLF TEAMS AT EASTERN KENTUCKY UNIVERSITY. BECAUSE OF THE QUALITY OF THE COURSE AND ITS SIZE, IT IS SOMEWHAT COSTLY TO MAINTAIN IN PROPER WORKING ORDER AS IS NOT UNUSUAL FOR SUCH A FACILITY.

A STATELY OLD MANSION SERVES AS THE FOCAL POINT OF THE DINING EXPERIENCE, BUT THERE IS ALSO A CLUB HOUSE LOCATED WITH THE GOLF PRO SHOP THAT OFFERS FOOD AND BEVERAGE SERVICE.

THE POOL FACILITY IS OPEN FOUR MONTHS A YEAR, ALTHOUGH MAINTENANCE OCCURS YEAR AROUND. THE ASSOCIATION HAS A SWIM TEAM AND HOSTS VARIOUS SWIM MEETS THROUGHOUT THE SWIM SEASON. WHILE THE TENNIS COURTS ARE OPEN THREE SEASONS BECAUSE THEY ARE OUTDOORS, THERE ARE YEAR ROUND MAINTENANCE COSTS FOR THEM AS WELL.

Income from certain activities not directly related to the Organization's tax-exempt purpose is subject to taxation as unrelated business income. Accounting principles generally accepted in the United States of America prescribe recognition thresholds and measurement attributes for the financial statement recognition and measurement of a tax position taken or expected to be taken in a tax return. Tax benefits or liabilities will be recognized only if the tax position would "more-likely-than-not" be sustained in a tax examination, with a tax examination being presumed to occur. The amount recognized will be the largest amount of tax benefit or liability that is greater than 50% likely of being realized on examination. For tax positions not meeting the more-likely-than-not test, no tax benefit or liability will be recorded. Management has concluded that they are unaware of any tax benefits or liabilities to be recognized at December 31, 2015 and does not expect this to change in the next 12 months.
