	Agency coordinates and promotes lesbian, gay bisexual, and transgender pride events in Seattle and the Pacific Northwest which celebrate the present, envision the future, and honor the past. These events include a parade in June which celebrates the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender culture. The Pride Parade, which includes over four hundred thousand (400,000) parade spectators and participants, has auxiliary events that serve to build anticipation of this upcoming event. For year ending August 31, 2015 these auxiliary events included Seattle Pride Idol, Pride Picnic, and Pride Brunch.
