	Corpus Christi City Employees Credit Union is a voluntary cooperative, not-for-profit financial institution, incorporated under the Texas Credit Union Act in 1951 for the purpose of encouraging thrift among its members, creating a source of credit at a fair and reasonable rate of interest, and providing an opportunity for its members to use and control their financial organization in order to improve their economic well being. Corpus Christi City Employees Credit Union is a community financial institution and adheres to the philosophy of Real People, Real Personal.

Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 4	In June 2015 Chapter III, Section 3.06 of the credit union's bylaws was amended. This section describes the process for the Nominating Committee to select applicants for election of the board of directors. Members will be notified at least 75 days prior to the annual meeting that nominations for vacancies may also be made by petition signed by 5% of members with a minimum of 20 and a maximum of 500.
Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 6	The Credit Union's members have the right to elect the individual members of the governing body. The Credit Union's members also receive a share of the organization's profits in the form of cash dividends.
