What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? The Hermon Skeet Club exists for the purpose of organizing and maintaining an organization for the encouragement of organized skeet, sporting clays and trap shooting among the citizens of our communities, with a view toward a better knowledge on the part of our citizens of the safe handling and proper care of firearms, as well as to improve marksmanship, and to encourage the development of those characteristics of honesty, good fellowship, self discipline, team play and self reliance which are the essentials of good sportsmanship and the foundation of true patriotism.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 Hermon Skeet Club provides space, equipment, targets, and coordination for shooting (25, 30, 50 and 100 target) rounds of Skeet, Trap, and Sporting Clays. Members and non-members shoot at the Club. An estimated 300 different people take advantage of the opportunity annually.
