The endowment funds are intended to be used to promote the legal system, legal education and enhance the relationship between attorneys and judges. Explanation

Part I, Line 2:

The association has two forms of grants. The first type of grant is structured as a scholarship. Local law schools are given grants that are specifically allocated to be used as scholarships for law students. The students must come from Delaware County, Pennsylvania and meet certain criteria established by the association and the individual law schools. The law schools select the students to receive the grants and send updates to the association regarding the use of funds. The second form of grant is program based. In this type, a grant is given to further promote law related programs throughout Delaware County. A report is submitted by the receiving organization to the association indicating how the grant money has been used.
