28 THE ORGANIZATION HELD MONTHLY MEETINGS FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONDUCTING BUSINESS AND DISCUSSING ISSUES OF RELEVANCE TO MEMBERS OF THE WAGE AND BENEFIT COMMITTEE. THE ORGANIZATION RETAINED AN ATTORNEY TO REPRESENT MEMBERS IN THE ADJUDICATION OF DISCIPLINARY AND OTHER MATTERS AS THEY PERTAINED TO COMMITTEE MEMBERS. THE ORGANIZATION MADE GRANTS TO LOCAL CHARITIES TO ADVANCE THEIR GOODWILL WORK TOWARDS NEEDY FAMILIES IN THE COMMUNITY.
