What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? PROMOTE CHILD NUTRITION THROUGH SCHOOL & COMMUNITY EDUCATION PROGRAMS. WORK WITH SCHOOL PERSONNEL, FOOD INDUSTRY, & SCHOOL ORGANIZATIONS TO ASSURE EVERY CHILD HAS AN OPPORTUNITY TO RECEIVE THE BENEFITS OF GOOD NUTRITION & EDUCATION PROGRAMS. PROVIDE CERTIFICATION AND TRAINING FOR SCHOOL FOOD SERVICE EMPLOYEES IN THE AREAS OF WELLNESS, NUTRITION, AND SANITATION.

28 ANNUAL CONFERENCE IS HELD IN JUNE AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS THROUGHOUT IOWA. MEMBERS OF SNAI PAY REGISTRATION FEES TO ATTEND THE 2-1/2 DAY CONFERENCE. WORKSHOPS, SEMINARS, SPEAKERS, & MEMBERS OF THE FOOD INDUSTRY PRESENT EDUCATION & TRAINING ON CURRENT NUTRITIONAL TOPICS. THE MEMBERS CAN OBTAIN CEU'S FOR ATTENDING THE CONFERENCE. INDUSTRY MEMBERS DISPLAY THEIR PRODUCTS IN THE EXHIBIT HALL & PAY A FEE FOR BOOTH SPACE RENTAL.
