What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? THE NEBRASKA DIPLOMATS, INC. IS A NON-PROFIT CORPORATION WITH MEMBERSHIP BY INDIVIDUAL BUSINESS, COMMUNITY, AND STATE LEADERS WHO USE THEIR RAPPORT WITH BUSINESS EXECUTIVES WORLDWIDE TO PROMOTE INVESTMENT AND EMPLOYMENT IN NEBRASKA. THE DIPLOMATS CONDUCT A PLAN OF WORK, BUT COMMONLY FORM ALLIANCES WITH OTHER ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ORGANIZATIONS IN THE STATE TO FORMULATE SPECIAL TASK FORCES WHICH PROMOTE THE STATE'S PRODUCTIVE BUSINESS CLIMATE AND QUALITY OF LIFE. THE DIPLOMATS OFFER LEADERSHIP IN NEBRASKA FOR PRIVATE INDUSTRY TO CONDUCT A SEPARATE SPHERE OF PROMOTIONAL AND MARKETING ACTIVITY WITHOUT POLITICAL, ORGANIZATIONAL OR GEOGRAPHIC RESTRICTIONS. CONSEQUENTLY, THE NEBRASKA DIPLOMATS HAS BECOME THE STATE'S LARGEST ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ORGANIZATION.
