Briefly describe the organization’s mission: In light of the existing and emerging laws and regulations protecting human health and the environment as they may differ worldwide, and as they may confront Aerospace Companies and their supply chains, the Corporation is organized and shall be operated exclusively to: (1) promote development of global standards published by an independent standards development organization; (2) create a Member forum for dialog and information exchange on potential industry and/or sectorial optional practices for implementation of environmental requirements; and (3) engage in any and all lawful activities incidental to the foregoing purposes except as restricted in the Bylaws of the Corporation; however, in each case above, excluding: (i) standards regarding aerospace product performance in use (e.g., including, without limitation, noise and emissions performance); (ii) research and technology development other than that related to potential improvements in industrial or manufacturing processes affecte

FORM 990, PART I, LINE 1, DESCRIPTION OF ORGANIZATION MISSION: In light of the existing and emerging laws and regulations protecting human health and the environment as they may differ worldwide, and as they may confront Aerospace Companies and their supply chains, the Corporation is organized and shall be operated exclusively to: (1) promote development of global standards published by an independent standards development organization; (2) create a Member forum for dialog and information exchange on potential industry and/or sectorial optional practices for implementation of environmental requirements; and (3) engage in any and all lawful activities incidental to the foregoing purposes except as restricted in the Bylaws of the Corporation; however, in each case above, excluding: (i) standards regarding aerospace product performance in use (e.g., including, without limitation, noise and emissions performance); (ii) research and technology development other than that related to potential improvements in industrial or manufacturing processes affected by environmental requirements; and (iii) any lobbying activity by or on behalf of IAEG. However, for the purposes of this paragraph (iii), IAEG may engage in any activity that is not regulated lobbying.
