	Professional Services: In 2015 MnSEIA Contracted with a Professional Services Company that provided Staffing and was responsible for organizing and coordinating program accomplishments: Membership was increased from 75 to 90 companies and organizations. Four Quarterly Membership Meetings and 12 monthly Board Meetings provided maximum Member input. MnSEIA coordinated six committees representing nearly every sector of the Association and the solar industry who met on a regular basis to advance their solar sector. In 2015 MnSEIA facilitated a 100% increase in the Minnesota solar industry from 18 to 36 megawatts (MW) after coordinating the passage of solar legislation in 2013 that will expand the Minnesota Solar Industry by 40 to times to more than 1000 MW by 2018. Solar jobs also increased from 1,200 to 2,000. MnSEIA's role as a promoter of good communication between members is becoming more challenging and essential as the industry and MnSEIA membership grows.

	Events: In November of 2015 MnSEIA promoted and produced "MnSEIA: Midwest Gateway to Solar". This was the second annual region-wide gathering of the solar industry. More than 300 representatives from over 110 companies and organizations from 15 states collaborated on implementing current solar legislation and expansion of the industry in the years ahead. Longer Term Goal: MnSEIA will continue to build the strength of its membership in order to further the mission of creating clean solar energy and economic opportunities for Minnesota by promoting good business, solar energy best practices, and preservation of our environment. Our challenge is to continue to work with our membership (which includes utilities) and state and local government to surpass our legislated goal of 400 + Megawatts by 2020. This is all made feasible by four legislated programs established by the solar industry and MN government to meet the goals: (1) Solar Production based incentives; (2) Made in Minnesota manufacturing incentives; (3) A Value of Solar determination that satisfies the utilities who are buying solar and the customers, installers and developers who are selling it; and (4) Community Solar Development projects for homeowners, businesses and institutions who are combing their resources to benefit from solar.
