Form 990, Part VI, Line 6: Explanation of Classes of Members or Shareholder The Elks' are a Fraternal Organization that is membership based with each member having a vote with regards to policy and by-laws. The Trustees have responsibility for financial and property, and the House Committee is the govening body consisting of nine elected individuals responsible for the operations of the Lodge and overall responsibility for compliance with our written by-laws and the Laws of the United States of America.
Form 990, Part VI, Line 7a: How Members or Shareholders Elect Governing Body The Elks' membership elects annually inividuals to the governing body which serve for 1 - 5 years depending upon the position or office to which the individual is elected. Trustees serve for 5 years and all other positions are one year terms, with the possibility of individuals being elected to the same office multiple years.

A copy was sent to the national organization review board and a copy is maintained by the Lodge Secretary for reivew by any member.
