    Summary of Direct Charitable Activities
    List the foundation’s four largest direct charitable activities during the tax year. Include relevant statistical information such as the number of organizations and other beneficiaries served, conferences convened, research papers produced, etc. Expenses
    1 On February 29, 2015, 3 volunteers (2 veterinarians, one vet technician) traveled to Ambato, Ecuador to work with PAE for a spay and neuter campaign. Volunteers were primarily from the U.S. and Canada. Over the 5 days, over 1500 surgeries were performed throughout the city and the surrounding villages. Each day the "surgical suites " were set up in community center and schools where locals brought in their animals for care. 2,699
    2 On June 20, 2015, 2 volunteers (1 veterinarian, one assistant) traveled to Huanchco, Peru to work with the Perros Project and two local animals rescue groups, to perform surgery and give medical care to the street dogs of the community. Most of the dogs and cats were severely debilitated from infectious diseases and poor surgical candidates. We worked in the recreation room of a local hotel and our charity provided the anesthetic machines for the whole group. All surgeries had successful outcomes. 6,115
    3 On August 8, 2015, 2 volunteers (1 veterinarian, 1 assistant) traveled to Seville, Spain to work in the animal rescue facility run by Foundation Benjamin Mehnert. Over four days, 4 veterinarians from the U.S. did spays and neuters on the Galgos, so the dogs would be able to find homes in other countries where they are wanted. We work with a French charity that actively finds homes to place them. 6,171
