What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? To improve and support the economic development of agricultural products, policies, and practices for and with small farm owners and operators.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 The Small Farmers Development and Marketing Grant program is used to support innovative and sustainable agricultural production in Harford County, Maryland and to assist in local marketing of such commodities. For the fiscal year ended June 30, 2016, twenty-seven local farms and farmers received various grants supporting Harford County Agriculture such as the Producers Grant, Emerging Tech Grant,and Marketing Grant.
