Generally the expenditure is made to the vendor directly by the University with the Foundation then providing a grant to the University to fund the expenditure after receiving appropriate documentation. Occasionally the Foundation will pay the vendor directly. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 5: The University of Connecticut provides payment to the Foundation for fund-raising and development expenses. The Foundation also earns a fee for management of endowment funds held by the University. |
