Briefly describe the organization’s mission: The Buyers Health Care Action Group DBA Minnesota Health Action Group is a coalition of public and private employers working to recreate the health care system to focus on a collective goal of optimal health and total value. BHCAG develops pruchaser strategies and seek out consumer information tools that promote a safe, timely, efficient, effective, equitable and patient-centered health care system.

	Minnesota Bridges to Excellence, was created in response to the need to redesign provider payment systems to reward providers for improved health outcomes. Providers are rewarded for imporving the care of patients with diabetes and/or vascular disease. BHCAG establishes performance targets and uses the quality scores reported by Minnesota community measurement to determine providers eligible for the performance rewards. About 800,000 benefited from this program in 2015.

Minnesota Health Action Group and Affiliates account for uncertainty in income taxes recognized in the financial statements by annually assessing their exposure for uncertain tax positions. If required, these entities would accrue income tax plus related interest and penalties as a liability. For the years presented, the entities have recorded no liability for uncertain tax positions.
