What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? The American-Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce (AUCC) is a 501 (c)(6) Washington, DC-based trade association representing US companies with operations in the Republic of Uzbekistan. Since its inception in 1993 AUCC has been at the forefront of advancing trade and business relations between the US and the Republic of Uzbekistan. AUCC prides itself in catering to the needs of our members, providing them with a platform to interact with policy makers in the US and the Republic of Uzbekistan and ensuring that bilateral commercial relations continue to be on the governments' top agenda. In addition, AUCC keeps its members apprised of business opportunities in Uzbekistan and organizes briefings by acknowledged experts on aspects of Uzbekistan's economy, business climate, society and culture. The chambers members are involved in the defense, manufacturing and exploration industries and include companies such as The Boeing Company, Case New Holland, Coca-Cola, FMN Logistics, ANADARKO PETROLEUM CO

28 2014 US-Uzbekistan Annual Business Forum - The forum is an annual event that is fully organized and sponsored by AUCC members. The 2014 US-Uzbekistan Annual Business Forum was viewed by the chamber as an opportunity to call for stronger business engagement between the US and Uzbek Governments in order to help American and Uzbek people further improve their socio-economic situation and achieve greater financial prosperity. The forum was held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan and was attended by high-level Uzbek government officials. The 2014 forum largely focused on US companies business plans for Uzbekistan, Uzbek Government vision of potential business opportunities and the US and US Gopvernment bilateral efforts to secure stronger trade and investment relations.
