Form 990, Part VI, Section A, line 6	There are four distinct types of membership classification. Full membership is reserved for safety net hospitals which meet certain criteria. These members have participation and voting rights as defined in the bylaws. Eligibility for State Safety Net Advocacy Group Membership status is determined by safety net hospital advocacy groups with non-profit hospitals being the majority members in the advocacy group. This membership designation also allows for full participation and voting rights. There also state safety-net advocacy group and hospital system associate membership categories.
