	Our Community Service Committee and Civil Rights Committees provide opportunities for attorneys and law students to engage the community through pro bono, community service, and civil rights activities and/or educational opportunities, including monthly pro bono clinics in Oakland and San Francisco through a partnership with API Legal Outreach. In 2014, 174 volunteers engaged in the clinics and 10 other community service events. The clinics served more than 160 individuals in the areas of immigration, family law, and housing. In addition, AABA provides funds to AABA Law Foundation for summer law clerk grants for law students in public interest internships.
