| Supplemental Information | FORM 990, PART III, LINE 1 - Organization's Mission (Continuation) This network works with others to provide services to those financially vulnerable women and children, raise awareness of their plight, and, where appropriate and subject to applicable IRS limits, advocate policy change on their behalf. FORM 990, PART III, LINE 4A - Program Service (Continuation) Assistance is given in order to prevent occupancy eviction or utilities turn off and assist with other basic needs. The women are engaged in an individual development plan through which Women Partnering links them with critical resources in the community, while assisting them with basic needs. Through Women Partnering's connections with the broader community, they are able to facilitate a collateral match process in which their financial assistance is matched on average by a 1-1 ratio by community resources (money and durable medical and basic-need goods). FORM 990, PART III, LINE 4B - Program Service (Continuation) It is two dimensional: a) Woman's Story Gathering at Mount St. Francis which invites women to share their spiritual journey through scripture prayer, ritual and reflection. All of the programs encourage participants of various faith traditions to find the sacred in themselves and in all of life. The vision of Woman's Story is spiritual renewal through connecting more deeply with God and with one another. This group is planned and led by members of the Woman's Story Core Group and volunteers; b). Woman's Story Retreat which is a day retreat held annually at Mount St. Francis for women. It is designed as a time for women to come together and through sharing and reflecting, experience connectedness and spiritual renewal. FORM 990, PART III, LINE 4C - Program Service (Continuation) Women Partnering integrates life-skill development through 1-1 mentoring, drop-inn centers , enrichment days and Children's Life Skill, Literacy classes and JOOI Club-- Junior Optimist Octagon International Club - "Kidz Partnering". Through Women Partnering's spiritual networking, they provide group opportunities that advance spiritual well-being. Through community networking, Women Partnering grows relationships with organizations in the community to ensure better service, increased collaboration, and less duplication. Through policy networking, Women Partnering partners with groups in the community and beyond to raise awareness of the plight of financially vulnerable women and children, and, where appropriate and subject to IRS limits, advocate policy change and implementation on their behalf. FORM 990, PART VI, SECTION A, LINE 6: The sole member of Women Partnering, Inc. is the Sisters of Saint Francis of Colorado Springs, Inc., a Colorado nonprofit corporation. FORM 990, PART VI, SECTION A, LINE 7A: The Sisters of Saint Francis of Colorado Springs, Inc. may elect one or more members of the governing body. FORM 990, PART VI, SECTION A, LINE 7B: Decisions of the governing body are subject to approval by the Sisters of Saint Francis of Colorado Springs, Inc. The decisions that are subject to approval are as follows: approval of the corporation's annual budget, appointment and removal of members of the board of directors and officers, approval of the articles of incorporation and bylaws (and amendments), approval of a change of purpose, approval of the sale or transfer of real or personal property, and approval of the merger, consolidation, or dissolution of the corporation. FORM 990, PART VI, SECTION B, LINE 11B: Members of the Women Partnering finance committee present the final draft of the tax form 990 to the Women Partnering board who then approves the final draft. The president of the Women Partnering corporation then authorizes the accounting firm to electronically file the return. FORM 990, PART VI, SECTION B, LINE 12C: Annually, the chairperson of the Women Partnering board reviews the conflict of interest policy with the board members, which requires that: Each board member and officer of the corporation provide the board periodically with knowledge of any situation which is or appears to be in conflict with his or her responsibilities to the corporation, or association with (a) any agency associated with the corporation, or (b) the corporate office(s) of the system of which the agencies or corporations are members. The Secretary of the Corporation circulates the Conflict of Interest Policy Document to each board member and officer of the Corporation with the direction that any such board member and officer report and disclose to the Board in writing, as soon as practical, but no less frequently than annually, anything involving a conflict of interest or potential conflict of interest with his or her duties to the Corporation. Each board member and officer also agrees to maintain the confidentiality of the information that is gained during the course of my service to Women Partnering and to use that information only to fulfill her/his fiduciary duty to the corporation. In addition, during the board orientation for each new board member, this policy is reviewed and each board member is required to sign the Conflict of Interest Statement. FORM 990, PART VI, SECTION B, LINE 15: Women Partnering follows the Mount Saint Francis personnel policies for determining compensation for the CEO and key employees. Established salary ranges and job classifications for the CEO and key employees are developed and maintained by the human resource department. Comparisons for salary information are gathered from benchmarked industry practices, including the Mountain States Employers' Council. These are reviewed frequently to assure that we attract qualified persons, encourage and reward high levels of performance and comply with state and federal laws regarding wages and benefits. There is a formal job description, which is revised as needed and a corresponding annual performance review. Pay raises are determined by performance and ministry ability to generate revenue. Pertaining to officers, the Women Partnering bylaws read: directors shall not receive compensation for their services as such; however, the reasonable expenses of directors of attendance at board meetings may be paid or reimbursed by the corporation. Directors shall not be disqualified to receive reasonable compensation for services rendered to or for the benefit of the corporation in any other capacity. FORM 990, PART VI, SECTION C, LINE 19: In all of Women Partnering's presentations to the public, they communicate that their form 990 is available for review.
