Briefly describe the organization’s mission: Brixy is a trade association of independently owned brick and mortar stores in the juvenile industry. The goal of the organization is to unite these specialty stores into a single organization in order to give them the scale needed to negotiate with manufacturers, market to consumers on a national level and achieve other economies of scale in purchasing training or other operating expenses.

	Fostered community through online message boards, regional meetings and other networking opportunities. 75% of Brixy members belong to the Brixy Member Messageboard which is a private group on facebook for sharing ideas. In addition, approximately 50% of Brixy members attended the Annual Business meeting held in Las Vegas, NV.

Brixy offered members discounts from approximately 80 manufacturers - lowering the number in 2015 to focus on key vendors - with 80% of Brixy members participating in at least one discount program. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 5: Provided discounts on key operating expenses, such as credit card processing and shipping. Brixy offers more than 35 discounts on operating expenses such as credit card processing, payroll porcessing, workers comp insurance, etc.
Form 990, Part VI, Line 6: Explanation of Classes of Members or Shareholder	Specialty retailers in the juvenile industry that meet the eligibility criteria set forth in the membership criteria policy adopted by the Board of Directors are eligible to become members. A member is defined as a single business entity, regardless of the number of brick and mortar stores owned by that entity. Multiple memberships are not required or permitted for multiple brick and mortar locations. Each member, meaning each business entity, is allotted one vote, provided the member is in good standing. The Board of Directors may establish other membership classes that have no vote and that are ineligible to serve as Directors or Officers.
