Briefly describe the organization’s mission: H-CAP, INC. was established for the purposes of: (1) Improving communication between representatives of labor and management; (2) providing workers and employers with opportunity to study and explore new and innovative joint approaches to achieving organizational effectiveness; (3) assisting workers and employers in solving problems of mutual concern that are not susceptible to resolution within the collective bargaining process; (4)studying and exploring ways of eliminating potential problems which reduce the competitiveness and inhibit the economic development of the health care industry; (5) enhancing the involvement of workers in making decisions that affect their working lives; (6) expanding and improving working relationships between workers and managers; and (7) encouraging free collective bargaining between employers and their employees.

Part X : FIN48 Footnote

U.S. GAAP requires the Corporation's management to evaluate tax positions taken by the Corporation and recognize a tax liability (or asset) if the Corporation has taken an uncertain position that more likely than not would not be sustained upon examination by the Internal Revenue Service. Management has analyzed the tax positions taken by the Corporation, and concluded that as of December 31, 2015 there are no uncertain positions taken or expected to be taken that would require recognition of liability (or asset) or disclosure in financial statements. The Corporation is subject to routine audits by taxing jurisdictions; however, there are currently no audits for any tax periods in progress. Management believes it is no longer subject to federal income tax examinations for years prior to 2012.
