Active Membership - open to any person professionally engaged in any field of musical activity. Active members in good standing are entitled to participate in all assocation activities and programs, to vote, hold office, and receive assocation publications.2. Collegiate/High School/Patron Membership - these members are entitled to participate in programs, but not vote or hold office.3. Retired Membership - retired members who have been active for at least 20 continuous years may vote, but not hold office.4. Honorary Life Membership - granted by the BOD to individuals who have given distinguished service to MMTA. These members pay no dues. |

Life membership is conferred by the MMTA Board of Directores. Board of Director officers are elected by majority vote at the annual membership meeting. |
