1	Briefly describe the organization’s mission or most significant activities: The purpose of the Grand Valley Daylily Society is to promote and encourage the development and improvement of the daylily and to increase interest therein, as a means of home and civic beautification." We are accomplishing these goals in a variety of ways. We have provided plants for Habitat Homes and other projects to showcase the daylily in our community, and we have increased public awareness of the daylily through floral donations to and upkeep of daylily beds at the Frederik Meijer Gardens and the Grand Rapids Ronald McDonald House to name a few.

We usually file Form 990-N because we are such a small organization. When I tried to file the 990-N I got caught in this Form 990 by mistake. Since we don't owe any tax or have any tax refund we did not file at the normal time. We will file the Form 990-N for 2016 as soon as it is available.
