What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? Enlisted Vermilion business', organizations and individual volunteers to present Festival of the Fish and Woollybear Festivals attracting approx 180,000 visitors during these 2 events to facilitate local fundraising and to expose local merchants to a broader array of potential customers. To encourage communication among residents, business, governmental personal etc. Regarding Vermilion's strengths, problems and opportunities. Attracted nearly 500 to our annual golf outing, and 8 other community receptions and meetings. Attracted nearly 1000 individuals to Mayhem at Main Street Beach and also promoted health and wellness with beach volleyball competition. Organized a chocolate and wine walk, new teachers luncheon, to bring visitors to town and to highlight Vermilion's culture, historical, scenic and commercial attractions and encourage local shopping. We donated to schools, churches and many other local organizations to help support their causes and missions.

28 Woollybear Festival brings in over 100,000 people from around the state to Vermilion. This helps support our local economy and promotes Vermilion. This also helps area pet rescues to raise money for their organizations
