	The organization promotes, sponsors and conducts several special events in Yuma, Arizona during the year. All of the events highlight Yuma and the desert southwest. Proceeds from these events generated $12,950 in scholarships to Arizona colleges and universities and $56,321 in donations to youth organizations and charities in the Yuma area. The largest event is "Midnight at the Oasis" - the southwest's premier classic car and nostalgia festival. This is a 3-day event in March attracting over 780 entrants and approximately 30,000 attendees. The organization paid out $51,325 from this event to other exempt organizations whose volunteer members assisted with the festival.

	The second largest event is a NJCAA Bowl Game hosted by Arizona Western College. This event attracts approximately 2,500 attendies. The organization paid out over $8,000 from this event to other exempt organizations assisting with the event.

	The third largest event is the Colorado River Balloon Festival which is a 3-day event in November which attracts numerous balloonists and thousands of members of the public to watch the balloon launches and attend the evening "Balloon Glow" event. Grantmaker's Description of How Grants are Used

Caballeros de Yuma, Inc. provides scholarships to community students. The scholarship monies are disbursed directly to the recipients' universities and community colleges for the educational institutions to monitor the distribution of the monies to the students.Monies are donated to community 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations. Caballeros de Yuma, Inc. may provide general contributions to organizations or may specify specific programs for the monies to be spent on by the recipient organizations. The recipient organization agrees to spend the monies as specified by Caballeros de Yuma, Inc.
