What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? To promote economic, social and physical improvements in all areas of California and the nation, particularly in Latino and other similarly situated communities.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 In 2014, the Civic Empowerment Coalition ensured that farm workers continued to be at the forefront of the immigration policy debate at the national level. Multiple advocacy events focused on this policy issue were held in California, Washington, Oregon, Colorado and in Washington D.C. Many of these activities included, protests in front of various Congressmembers' offices to urge them to vote for comprehensive immigration reform.
