This new program includes two four year cycles in every eight year recertification period. In each of the four year cycles, CRNAs will complete a minimum number of continuing education requirements, complete modules in each of the four core areas of anesthesia (voluntary the first four years) and continue to work in the profession. Each eight year period will include an examination. The goal of the program is to encourage life long learning and help protect the safety of the public. |
