| Form 990, Part VI, Section A, line 6 | The club is composed of members who must be elected to the membership by a resident member and seconded by two resident members, all of whom shall know the nominee personally, but none of whom shall be related to the nominee by blood or marriage-by being a second cousin or closer. The nomination shall be posted by the Secretary of the Club and remain there for ten days. During that time, members may furnish the Board and Membership Committee with confidential information relating to the qualification of any nominee for membership. The nomination shall then be taken from the bulletin board by the Secretary and delivered to the Membership Committee for investigation. The recommendation of the Membership Committee shall be reported by it to the President, by whom it shall be reported to the Board of Directors at the next meeting of the Board. Voting shall be by secret ballot. |
