Explanation

PART I, LINE 2

Grant funds for Center for Dairy Research are monitored primarily by a steering committee including WCMA staff, Center for Dairy Research staff, Food Research Institute staff and the director of the food safety division at the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture. This steering committee reports to the WCMA Technology Committee, a voluntary committee of members that includes two member of the WCMA Board of Directors. Finally, the WCMA Board of Directors has fiscal oversight of grant dollars offered to the Center for Dairy Research. CDR staff presented research findings at the most recent meeting of the WCMA Board of Directors.
