| Form 990, Part VI, Section A, line 6 | The Telecommunications Association of the Southeast has the following four classes of members: 1. Active Members 2. Associate Members 3. Affiliate Members 4. Honorary Members Active members in good standing are entitled to the voting rights of the organization. In addition, the Associate Members shall elect a Chairman of the Associate Committee for a period of two (2) years who shall becomes a voting member of the Board of Directors. All classes of members are encouraged to participate in the social functions, exhibits, training courses, and workshops conducted by the organization. |
| Form 990, Part VI, Section A, line 7a | The number of Board members shall be set by vote of the Active Members, but in no event shall be no less than three (3) and no more than twenty-three (23) and provided further, that no reduction in the size of the Board shall involuntarily reduce the term of any existing Board member. Each Board member shall serve a three (3) year term. Election for those Director positions whose terms are expiring shall occur at the Annual meeting or other meeting of the Active Members called for that purpose or their position is eliminated through a reduction in the size of the Board. The Associate Members shall elect a Chariman of the Associate Committee for a period of two (2) years who shall become a voting member of the Board of Directors. With the exception of the Chairman of the Associate Committee, Board members must be accredited representatives of Active Member companies. Board members whose terms expire shall retain full rights as Board members until their successors take office or their positions are eliminated through a reduction of the size of the Board. |
