What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? ASH SPECIALISTS PROGRAM WAS ORGANIZED TO IDENTIFY & RECOGNIZE PHYSICIANS WITH EXPERT kNOWLEDGE & SKILLS IN THE MANAGEMENT OF CLINICAL HYPERTENSION & RELATED DISEASES through an examination.

28 The ASH Hypertension Specialists Program was formed by the American Society of Hypertension, Inc. (ASH) in 1998. It was incorporated as a testing arm of the Society that identifies physicians and clinicians with a specific scope of knowledge in Hypertension through taking and passing an examination.The ASH Hypertension Specialists Program offers two certifications: the physician Specialist in Clinical Hypertension certification and the NP, PharmD and PA hypertension clinician certification.
