Pt III, Line 31 The purpose of this organization is to pursue and maintain access to quality medical care, to promote public education on health issues, and to provide value to members by the representation and assistance of member physicians in the practice of medicine.
Pt III, Line 31 The medical society exempt purpose is to provide a membership organization to promote the mission of the society which is to pursue and maintain access to quality medical care, to promote public education on health issues, and to provide value to members by the representation and assistance of member physicians in the practice of medicine. The organization utilizes General Meetings to educate and inform physicians on timely topics in medicine,a medical journal called the Hippocratist that also educates and informs on medical topics, an updated Directory of all physicians and services provided in the area, as well as other meetings on specific topics of interest. There are over 150 medical physicians who are members of the organization. The area serviced consists of Ouachita Parish in Northeast Louisiana.
