What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? To bring together persons interested in the promotion of the fine arts and other artistic endeavors. To enhance the enjoyment of the arts through the pursuit of study and other activities. To give recognition to individuals in the community for their contributions to the arts. To encourage further study through giving awards and scholarships to students of music, arts, the theatre, the dance and related fields.

28 Honored Karen Abercrombie as Peirians' Honorary Member. Awarded the Pierian Artistic Award of $500 to the selected chapterMaintained a website that connects links to museums and cultural venues located in Pierian chapter located areas. Local, state level chapters engaged in activities that have a solid nexus in promoting a variety of arts. The AtlantaHeld the bi-annual National Assembly in Columbia, MD from October 16-19, 2014.
