In cooperation with members, our governing bodies, related committees and organizers, PRO works to improve the overall safety, welfare, visibility and growth of the sport.

	In 2016 the organization underwent a complete rebranding process to better align itself with the Eventing Riders Association International, of which we are a member association. In March 2017, the organization changed its named from the Professional Riders Organization to the Eventing Riders Association North America.

	PRO continues to run our Junior Programs, which include the Triple Crown Junior Young Rider Scholarship Award and the Prelim to PRO Team Championship. These include educational competitive programs and seminars for juniors as part of ERA of NA Junior programs. Sponsorship is secured to enable the organization to offer these programs.

Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 12c	Any contract or transaction in which a director is interested must be approved by the Board of Directors acting in good faith through the affirmative vote of a majority of the disinterested directors then members of the Board of Directors (being not less than two directors) or by a committee made up of at least three disinterested directors after disclosure to the Board of Directors or the committee of all meterial facts as to the director's relationship to or interest in the contract or transaction and as to the nature of the contract or transaction, and the fact that an interested director participated in meetings discussing or approving any such contract or transaction shall not make the approval void or voidable.
