SCHEDULE D, PART X, LINE 2 FHI 360 is recognized as an organization exempt from Federal income tax under Section 501(a) of the Internal Revenue Code as an organization described in Section 501(c)(3) whereby only unrelated business income, as defined by Section 512(a)(1) of the Code, is subject to Federal income tax. Management has analyzed the tax positions taken by FHI 360 - and has concluded that as of September 30, 2016 and 2015, there are no uncertain tax positions taken or are to be taken. Accordingly, no interest or penalties related to uncertain tax positions have been accrued in the accompanying financial statements.
