FUNDS ARE RAISED THROUGH DONATIONS AND SPONSORED EVENTS AND ARE THEN USED TO FUND ITS PARTICIPATING PROGRAMS,OPERATING COSTS AND BUILDING IMPROVEMENTS. DURING THE FISCAL YEAR, PACKAGES WERE SHIPPED TO MEMBERS OF THE VFW IN A COMBAT UNIT AS WELL AS ASSISTING OPERATION CARE PACKAGE IN SENDING PACKAGES TO MILITARY MEMBERS, ASSISTANCE WAS PROVIDED TO KUZMA COTTAGE AND FAMILIES EXPERIENCING TRAGEDY OR FINANCIAL DIFFICULTY WERE PROVIDED WITH AID. SEVERAL SPONSORSHIP WERE GIVEN TO LOCAL ORGANIZATIONS AND WELL AS TWO SCHOLARSHIPS TO LOCAL COLLEGE STUDENTS. THE HONOR GUARDS CONTINUE TO PROVIDE INTERMITTENT SERVICES FOR VETERAN'S AND THEIR FAMILIES AT ABRAHAM LINCOLN NATIONAL CEMETERY.
