LCD TV ASSOCIATION IS A MARKETING TRADE ASSOCIATION FORMED TO PROMOTE AND INFORM(VIA TRADE SHOWS, NEWSLETTERS, WHITE PAPERS, INTERVIEWS, WEB SITE, SPEECHES,ETC), CONNECT AND IMPROVE(VIA ADVISORY BOARD MEETINGS, TRADE SHOW GATHERINGS, COMMITTEE CALLS AND MEETINGS, PANELS, ETC) THE LCD TV PRODUCT AND SUPPLY CHAIN, FOR BOTH MEMBERS AND CONSUMERS.

28 LCD TV ASSOCIATION WAS FORMED TO HELP THE ENTIRE LCD PRODUCT AND SUPPLY CHAIN AND RETAIL CHANNELS, THROUGH PROMOTION AND PUBLICATION OF COMMUNICATION TOOLS, NEWSLETTERS, RESEARCH AND WHITE PAPERS, PRESS RELEASES AND INTERVIEWS AS WELL AS MEETINGS AND STANDARD SETTINGS. THE GOAL IS TO ENGAGE EVERYONE IN MORE DISCUSSIONS AND INFORMATIONAL SHARING TO REDUCE CONFUSION AND THE PROLIFERATION OF MEANINGLESS, LARGE NUMBER SPECS THAT MAY NOT CORRELATE WITH REAL CONSUMER, BENEFITING THE INDUSTRY OVERALL AND HELPING TO FOSTER HEALTHY COMPETITION AND CREATE BETTER PRODUCTS FOR CONSUMERS AND RETAILERS ALIKE.
