    We respectfully request abatement of late filing penalties. Unfortunately Mr. Solomon Miller (the Managing Trustee), who is eighty-nine years old, has been suffering from memory loss - and his wife (the Secretary), has been suffering from Alzheimers disease for many years. Due to these medical circumstances they have inadvertently neglegted to file tax returns for this Foundation for 2014, 2015 and 2016. As soon as their children/caregivers discovered the unfiled returns they promptly assisted with the filing of these three returns. Your understanding of these unfortunate circumstances is greatly appreciated. Documentation for the above described medical conditions can be provided upon request.
