	THE BHCA OPERATES A COMMUNITY SWIMMING POOL THAT SERVED 413 MEMBER FAMILIES FROM MEMORIAL DAY THROUGH LABOR DAY 2015. THE POOL PROVIDES A PLACE FOR MEMBERS TO EXCERCISE, SOCIALIZE AND DEVELOP A SENSE OF COMMUNITY.

THE SWIM TEAM PROVIDES A PLACE FOR CHILDREN TO EXERCISE, DEVELOP THEIR SWIMMING SKILLS, LEARN TO PARTICIPATE IN A TEAM SPORT AND DEVELOP A SENSE OF COMMUNITY. APPROXIMATE 180 PEOPLE VOLUNTEER TO ASSIST WITH RUNNING THE SWIM TEAM AND ITS VARIOUS ACTIVITIES.

THE BHCA ALSO INSTALLED NEW PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT AND A NEW RETAINING WALL IN THE ADJACENT PARK AT A COST OF $44,000. THE PARK IS NOW MUCH MORE INVITING FOR FAMILIES.
