DUE TO THE CHANGE IN ORGANIZATION OFFICERS AND BOARD IN PARTICULAR THE TREASURER RESPONSIBLE FOR PREPARATION OF THE 990N E-POSTCARD, IT WAS DISCOVERED THAT THE FORMS HAD NOT BEEN PROPERLY FILED. THE TREASURER, AT THE TIME OF DISCOVERY, TRIED TO FILE THE 990N BUT WAS UNSUCCESSFUL. THE ORGANIZATION IS THEREFORE, FILING THIS 990EZ FORM TO BRING THEIR ACCOUNT TO THE CURRENT STATUS. ADDITIONAL FORMS 990EZ WILL FOLLOW. THERE WAS NO INTENTIONAL DISREGARD OF THE FILING RULES, ONLY A MISCOMMUNICATION AMONG MEMBERS OF THE ORGANIZATION. THE ORGANIZATION REQUESTS THAT A PENALTY NOT BE ASSESSED, DUE TO THE LATE FILING. A PENALTY WOULD HAVE A DETRIMENTAL EFFECT ON THE ABILITY OF THE ORGANIZATION TO FURTHER ITS MISSION AND SERVE THE PUBLIC.
